Jenna Li

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor in the state of Oregon.  Since 2012, I have had the privilege of helping people change, grow, achieve their goals, overcome addiction, and cope with everything from mundane everyday stressors to some of the most difficult crises imaginable. Contrary to what most people assume, being a therapist fills me with optimism and leaves me in awe of people’s abilities to heal, persevere, and create the lives they want.

My primary training was in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and other Evidence-Based Practices, but I incorporate elements of many different modalities to provide a personalized, holistic approach to therapy. I believe that the client-counselor relationship is one of the most important factors in successful treatment so I place high value on every therapeutic relationship I enter. Although I have experience working with a wide variety of mental health and behavioral issues, I have the most experience in treating Anxiety, Depression, Addiction, Co-dependency/Relationship issues, Stress, Crisis, and Trauma/PTSD. I am inspired by the work of Bessel Van Der Kolk, Gabor Mate, and Brené Brown (to name a few). If you liked any of the books or Ted Talks featuring those authors then we will probably get along great!

I truly believe that one of the best ways to heal and further enrich your life is to connect with other humans. So if you are considering therapy, I urge you to reach out and make a connection today.
