Tom Stuck

I worked for  22 years at Kaiser Permanente as the clinical supervisor for alcohol and drug services.  I started the outpatient treatment program and worked mostly as a clinician.  I retired in 2008 but found myself bored and needing more fulfillment other than just being engaged in  fun activities.  Subsequently, I worked again at Kaiser Permanente the last 10 years as an on-call  substance abuse counselor.   In my capacity as a substance abuse counselor I have worked with a multitude of people through the years who have had  numerous issues in addition to substance abuse. After retiring the second time from Kaiser Permanente in May 2018, I again found myself bored and looking for a new experience.  I am so grateful that I was given the opportunity to work in private practice at the Lilac Wellness Clinic.  I consider this a new adventure for me as I have never done private practice.

For the last 32+ years, I have lived in Salem after moving here from Cincinnati where I was born and raised.   After being in the Navy I graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a masters in counseling.  I have never looked back after moving to Salem and love all what Oregon has to offer including my passions of windsurfing, bicycling, driving my motorcycle,  paddle boarding, and traveling.   I have been happily married for the last 21 years.   We live in South Salem with the love of our lives….. our dog Razzle Dazzle.
